T2 W2 Reading create task (The longest story)

 Hey everyone!

WALT: Evaluate ideas and information from a narrative text.

This week at school for reading we basically did the same things as last week but we got to choose another book. The book that I chose was The longest story. So for create task one we had to fill in each box and summarise it. For the 1st box we had to describe our book write the setting, problem and solution and also summarise it. The 2nd box we had to write 3 sentences about our complementary text and the challenge text and also summarise it.

My complementary text was about a spider called Anansi and a rich man called Nothing, the story was basically about when kids cry and you ask them why they are crying they might say it's nothing.

The challenge text was about a chief and a boy telling a story about a person called Mogobo who is never full and always hungry.

The longest story was about a girl called Abena and her father thinks that it’s time for Abena to get married, so her farther said that who ever tells the longest story get Abena, to be her future husband, so a man told a story about a bird that has 3 eggs that hatched and we hungry so the mother went to get worms and they were still hungry so she went to get worms again and they were still hungry, so then later he won Abena.

For Create task 2 we had to basically imagine that I was the editor of the story and rewrite the last paragraph and why I decided to change the ending like that. So then for create task 3 we had to pretend that we were the police officer and ask the main character 5 questions and also the answers.

I couldn't post create task 1 because on the instructions on create task 1 it said that we didn't need to blog and only copy and paste the description.

So here's create task 2 and 3!

I changed the last paragraph like that because The man won Abena for telling the longest story so I basically just did What might be able to happen if the ending was different and if I was the editor of the story.
I hope you enjoyed my work from this week!!
Good bye!!!
